1) Fazerdaze - Lucky Girl

Amelia Murray je úmělkyně pocházející z největší města Nového Zélandu, Auckland. Pod projektem Fazerdaze natočila v roce 2014 výborný eponymní debut obsahující celkem 6 písní. Vyzdvihnout musím především nádhernou Jennifer, která se stala v mé bilanci za rok 2015 druhou nejlepší. Její kytarový zasněný pop jsme si mohli vychutnat na dalším skvělém singlu Little Uneasy, který získal opět stříbro za minulý rok. Letos se očekává celé album nazvané Morningside, naplánováno je na datum 5.května pod Flying Nun Records. Zde je první singl z něj Lucky Girl a docela jsem na tu desku zvědav.

Letting Up Despite Great Faults jsou zpátky zhruba po třech letech s novým albem. Existují již od roku 2004, já si cením hlavně EP Paper Crush z roku 2011, které zde získalo stříbro. Na něm najdete skvělé pecky jako Teenage Tide či Sophia In Gold. EP Alexander Devotion obsahuje celkem 4 písně, kterému předcházel singl Starlet. V japonsku navíc vyšlo CD s pěti bonusovými skladbami, takže pro fandy této sladké kytarovky trojky z LA určitě cenný materiál.

Plzeňská formace "esazlesa" se nám vrací tento týden s novou deskou nazvanou Společnost psů. Jejich začátky spadají do roku 2009, já osobně jsem je poznal na výborném splitku s Five Seconds to Leave z roku 2012. Tam najdete mimochodem skvělé kousky jako Průměrný děti historie nebo Nemá smysl nic říkat. Poté přišlo EP St. Tropez, titulní pecku kluci přidali právě na tuto řadovku, která vyjde právě zítra díky labelu Day After. V úterý se navíc objevilo video ke skladbě Mezek, takže kdo jede na emo/hardcore/postrocku vřele dooručuji!

Minulý týden zvítězila kapela Funeral Advantage, který i tento pátek bude mít zde své místo. Za projektem pronoun z Brooklynu stojí snad žena Alyse Vellturo. Debutové EP There's no one new around you vyšlo minulý rok v polovině listopadu a příští týden 10/3 bude k mání také 12" vinyl i CD. Vše otvírá příjemná skladba a million other things, ale i taková Just cuz you can't stojí určitě za pozornost. Všechny 4 songy totiž vycházejí znovu ovšem v jiném kabátě, o ten nejlepší se postaral právě Tyler Kershaw (Funeral Advantage). Další povedená kapela ze skandinávie konkrétně ze švédského Malmö, která má cit pro melodické zasněné kytarové písně, to jsou Echo Ladies. Jejich začátky spadají do roku 2014, ovšem až letos dala tato trojice o sobě pořádně vědět. Již jejich první singl Close To Be Close To Me z loňského listopadu příjemně zavoněl Cocteau Twins. Tento týden díky domácímu labelu Hybris vychází celý materiál v podobě eponymního EP. To obsahuje celkem 4 příjemné skladby: Watching Time, Close To Be Close To Me, Never The Same Way, Nothing Ever Lasts.

Líbivý elektronický popík provozuje od roku 2014 londýnská dvojice, Empathy Test. Zde naposled Adam Relf a Isaac Howlett sklidili stříbro za jejich druhé EP Throwing Stone z prosince 2014. Letos se již objevil únorový singl By My Side, tento pátek je k dispozici zbrusu nový sedmipalec s názvem Bare My Soul. Ten doplňuje skladba Walk Right Out a remixy, takže kdo rádi vzpomínáte na synth pop z osmdesátek určitě zkuste. Na koncertech jinak vystupuje tato kapela dohromady ve čtyřech členech.

Rozhodně povedené dílo pro fandy aktuálního emo punku připravilo tento týden vydavatelství Jawbone, které se zaměřuje na klasické kazety. Toto splitko nám představuje 2 anglické party, Evertim pocházejí z Brightonu a na svým triku mají zatím dvě EP z minulého roku. Zde si můžete vychutnat skladby Knots a The Shots You're Missing (Bed & Brexit). Fruitcake z Horshamu z hrabství Sussex jsem poznal především na jejich povedeným EP Totally Original Songs vydaném před rokem. Tato trojka toho má na svém kontě trochu více, debutovali singlem Super Noodles z roku 2014. Kapela z amerického Hartfordu, Sorority Noise je naživu od roku 2013. Již jejich debut EP Young Luck naznačilo cestu k melodickému indie rocku a emo punku. Na svém kontě má tato čtveřice celkem 3 řadovky, ta aktuální You're Not As _____ As You Think vyšla v polovině března díky labelu Triple Crown a pro evropský trh u Big Scary Monsters. Já osobně mám nejraději hned úvodní pecku No Halo, ta totiž dostala toto pondělí na prvního máje ofi video.

1) Figmennt - Figmennt

Anglická čtveřice Figmennt na sebe poprvé upozornila únorovým singlem z roku 2015 nazvaným She. Jejich působivý zasněný kytarový pop, mě osobně zaujal až na tom dalším Home z loňského prosince. To už kapela dávala dohromady své debutové eponymní EP, které se objevilo na jejich bandcampu v polovině března. Poté jej ovšem stáhla, jelikož bylo naplánováno znovuvydání právě na tento pátek tentokrát pod Still Water Recordings. EP obsahuje celkem 6 písní, krom Home určtě stojí za pozornost úvodní With Me či závěrečná Sad Song.

1) Ride - All I Want

Právě dnes vychází 5 řadové album Weather Diaries navždy zapsané kapele na kytarové nezávislé scéně, Ride! Jejich naprosto skvělý debut Nowhere z roku 1990 patří vůbec k mým nejoblíbenějším deskám všech dob. Psal jsem o něm také v nostalgii (16) a také na bohužel již zaseknutém webu indiemusic. O jejich návratu samozřejmě snad každý ví, vše se rozběhlo začátkem roku singly Charm Assault + Home Is a Feeling. Ten třetí All I Want, vydaný koncem dubna jsem si ovšem oblíbil nejvíc. Tento týden dostal také oficiální video, takže po úspěšném návratu Slowdive a možná i The Jesus and Mary Chain je zde čtveřice z Oxfordu Ride!
